How does God speak? From: June Ritchie 15 Mar 2012 (11:30)
The Lord has spoken to me twice within three days both times very relevant and very bible based. Thats how I know beyond all doubt it was God the fact that thw words were in line with scripture proved to me it was divine speech and also specific in answer to what I had been in prayer about.
the first time praying about the army boys in afghanistan and the war there.
I prayed in tongues as I gave my anxieties and fears for the army to the Lord.
The words came into my mind and my spirit as i prayed so that stopped.
The blessing will follow those that you bless and the curse will follow those that you curse. I immediatley thought of the words to Abraham in Genesis.
and knew instinctively that God was telling me to concentrate my prayer on pouring out a blessing on all those affairs of concern to me. But also giving warning to watch my speech and let nothing of my anxiety become an increase of the curse upon lands or people. I have taken it to heart even now days after.
The night passed praying blessings on all and sundry!!\"
His voice alerted me again two days later; Praying over my needs and some of my struggles to get ahead; \'It is I the Lord that teacheth thee to prosper\'
Again my anxiety disappeared as I recognised that God was comforting me regarding my problems by reminding me of words He spoke to the Hebrews in DEUTeronomy. With the words and the scriptural proof of them comes peace of heart and peace of mind and thats how one knows that it is God. He seeks to encourage not discourage, He seeks to instil faith not fear and he does it via His holy word which cannot lie. Even so speak on Lord it does mer good to hear you! June

just a comment  From: June Ritchie 25 Mar 2012 (19:57)
wondering why no one has ventured to add to or comment on what I have said here. I know I am not unique! there are other folks on here who are in that precious position of hearing from God and it would be so good if they would add something of their own experience so that we can rejoice in the Lord together.
I personally would be greatly blessed to read such remarks as friends could or would make. After all a hotline with \\God is what we all seek after to help us in daily life. june

sometimes its a bit difficult to reply to an input  From: derek leslie 26 Mar 2012 (18:22)
Its difficult perhaps for a reply feedback etc, because if we don\'t happen to agree with anything, some get upset and think that we are getting at them. So I say this below with a great apprehension in mind. And I am not having a go at you. As I have a Christian love for you.
Perhaps its the bit you wrote about Christians been able to curse people. That many will find disturbing. I for one are shocked at the thought. Perhaps you worded it a bit wrong? Perhaps that\'s why no one has replied has like me are a bit frightened that they may upset you.

By the way feedback for others and again not reflecting anything against you in any way whatsoever. So please don\'t take it any other way.

Take a look at this people of God. Benny hinn curses everybody. The video starts of with the late pastor David Wilkerson saying how wicked This is. Then the video shows benny cursing people.

http:// www.youtube.com/watch?v=yN8y5o272zo

Some will say don\'t call others. Yet there are times when we must stand up and be counted so take a look at this video its only 1.7 min\'s long it may open our eyes.

Got a sad feeling in my heart now, perhaps should not have given any feedback.   From: derek leslie 26 Mar 2012 (20:07)
Got a sad feeling in my heart now, perhaps should not have given any feedback. Don\'t want in any way want to upset you June.
Feel sorry now for the input has I feel that you will think that I am attacking you. Which I am not.
I am sure that you must have somehow not meant it the way that you wrote it.
Do you wish me to delete my input.?

WE NEED TO USE WISDOM  From: TREFLYN JONES 27 Mar 2012 (11:29)
We understand that there may be issues that we do not agree on.

If you apply wisdom to what you are saying which means you don\'t say that you disagree with what has been said, You can just say that you see things differently.

If you keep insisting that a person is wrong or mislead then that again can lead to disagreement.

I know that there are individuals on the TaskJesus website who are fearful (if that\'s the right word!) of making a point or posting a reply because they know that some people lack wisdom and common sense in how they will respond with their own opinions.

If you know that you have in the past hurt others by using the wrong or inappropriate language then you need to moderate what is being said. We will now be monitoring posts more carefully and anyone found using inapropriate language or unkind replies will be asked to moderate their entries as we need to show COMPASSION and CHRISTIAN LOVE to others whether we agree or disagree with them. Sometimes it may be WISER to send them a private message via the MEMBERS MESSAGING system so it is kept off the forum. Rememebr this website should be used to bring GLORY and HONOUR to the FATHER and not to feather our own nests.

I will start a new thread in the forum on this subject using some of this test as the starting point. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on how this website should be moderated.

GOD Bless

Do we know our power and to use it?  From: June Ritchie 27 Mar 2012 (11:53)
The instructions of God to Abraham were very clear. In Genesis. 12 V2-3; And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Matthew 5 V7; Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy.
I WANT THAT AND I KNOW I NEED IT! Matthew 5 V37; But let your communication be, yea, yea; Nay, nay; for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. ( How to learn to be a woman of a few words and make sure they are worth saying)
Matthew 5 V44; But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. SPEAK LIGHT NOT DARKNESS! Matthew 7 V1-5; Judge not, that ye be not judged, for with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged; AND with WHAT MEASURE YE METE it shall be measured to you again.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother\'s eye, but consider not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother\'s eye.
V12; Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
It\'s a very hard lesson to learn but we need to learn it; People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. Stones in this case are words of criticism as we sit in judgement on one another. It ought not to be. Famed preachers are always in a firing line wherever they go and whatever they say. Throwing stones at them is dangerous, people get hurt. But somewhere else the stone can be aimed back at ourselves and that\'s a hard truth! One I have learned the hard way.
I try to criticise nobody in these days though I can get frustrated in that. Critical words are curses! so are angry words and that\'s why we are told not to throw any kind of stone, even at people we see as wrong. Glass soon breaks so do hearts. And to live in a glass house invites damage?.
Our peace is lost when we use our speech to get at others whatever position they are in. Afghanistan holds many evils, but for a Christian to bless them can cause that present evil not to increase and also to return the blessing upon our own selves and our countrymen. More than any other voice I want to hear the voice of God in my life. If I live criticising and judging others I know that privilege would stop. I couldnt bear that! we are told to LIVE at Peace with one another. That is essential and I have to try to continually do that if I dont I find I can lose myself in strife when all I want is peace. I have aimed criticism at no one this is a spiritual issue and not a personal one I choose by my words here to keep it so. Bless all who read this. Junex

listening to GOD  From: maryann 27 Mar 2012 (21:52)
ref, to the last inputs ....this week and last week......i havnt been able to follow the last 2 weeks cause my computer broke down completly and i had to buy a new laptopp today......tough.....its like learning a new language!!! ugh! ugh! but GOD IS GOOD and through it all, HE is here, helping me, even in the moments when i have been SO stressed out because og this, everything is new! through the prosess with the office i used before, i have really been \"angry\" at the guy who sold me the computer once upon a time 2,5 yrs ago......anyway, GOD knows it all, and although i was angry, i still bless the guy and ask GOD to save his soul! WE are allowed to be angry at wrong doings....that is not wrong...but God will take care of it all.....revenge is HIS and we must just pray for them! And then my TV broke as well, so ive bought a new one ...its still in the box.....have to have help to get it programmed etc.....sometimes life can be a little difficult for woman who are not very technical......but everything will be allright , i know, and at the same time i am experiencing heaps of blessings! .......The devil will always try to attack those who want to live for JESUS, he hates us and targets us...but GOD takes us through the problems and we get lifted up HIGH...knowing that HE never leaves us or forsakes us! IS NT HE WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL........
ps! we must never try to force anybody to agree with us, we have a free will and in the right time GOD will show us if weare wrong about things, thats if we are living in HIM , trusting and obeying, cause there s no other way to be happy in JESUS, but to trust and obey!

How does God speak  From: Nyari Gwavava 28 Mar 2012 (14:30)
Well there are various ways really
- through Scripture, it always has to line up with the wird of God

-through that inner voice

-through visions and dreams
I remember praying for my great uncle once and getting this picture of him standing among a graet crowd of people. He had cancer and we were praying for healing. Every time I prayed it was always the same picture. I\'d never had that experience before. I thought because he was a Pastor, the Lord was trying to tell me that he would be healed and well again. Sadly,or maybe not, he went to be with the Lord. It was only later when I was reading the book, growing in the prophetic and Mike Bickle was talking about receiving a revelation from God and interpreting a revelation from God that I realised that I had never made the distinction. I had a revelation, but I had not really taken the time to receive the interpretation of the revelation.

Another time, I dreamt that my cousin was in the anaesthetic room (I am an anaesthetist by proffession). I asked him what he was doing there. He told me that he had come to have his tooth out. He said he was having it done under local anaesthesia and he was really scared. I then asked him if he wanted a general anaesthetic since I could give him one. He said yes. The next thing I did was to start praying over him, Psalms 1, then I woke up.
As my cousin lives in Zimbabwe and I live in England, I decided to call him to find out if everything was ok. He was indeed having his tooth out, he was really nervous about it.

I simply use these to illustrate how God can speak to us. We are all different, so God knows which method to use. I think the problem is taking the time to actually listen for that still small voice, and making sure that it lines up with Scripture.

I am thankful  From: June Ritchie 29 Mar 2012 (11:16)
It is so good to see replies on this subject the latest one from a man I didnt meet yet has been a lovely blessing coming at a stressful time with sickness in the home and the family. You know God\'s comforting voice can be so real and you are lifted up straightaway by it just at the right time too!. I thank God that for a lot of years God has been able to communicate with me in that way, but it has been a way that others have not always been responsive to hearing about. Embarrassing and difficult yet I have often gone back to God to ensure I heard aright and always I have received my confirming word from Him to cause me to press on and to keep on listening for that still small voice. The Holy Spirit is my anchor just as is the ability to pray in tongues. He develops our spirits deep within and understands us better than any human being. Being sensitive to God\'s voice is essential and if we are too taken up with the clamour of daily life we can miss out and miss it. I love my inner peace and do not let go of it lightly. Junex

blessing and cursing  From: pauline Tait 29 Mar 2012 (12:24)
I was once praying on what to teach in junior church and the Lord sais Blessing and cursing which is of course Deut seriously to Junior church how?....The Lord told me/led me to use fruit pastels the advert was the chew challenge so each child had to keep a fruit pastels in their mouth and NOT CHEW IT to all the children that achieved this great task I awarded a prize which was chocolate biscuits as a blessing to the ones who chewed nothing as sometimes a curse is the withholding of blessing it worked really well and the bible says this also..
Matthew 10:12-14
Amplified Bible (AMP)

12As you go into the house, give your greetings and wish it well.
13Then if indeed that house is deserving, let come upon it your peace [that is, [a]freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin]. But if it is not deserving, let your peace return to you.

14And whoever will not receive and accept and welcome you nor listen to your message, as you leave that house or town, shake the dust [of it] from your feet.

I think people mistake the fact we should be honest and truthful and speak in love with being nice...being politically correct as it were Jesus cursed the fig tree and he didn\'t sin and okay the fig tree isn\'t a person but Romans 1 27-32 is very clear

God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome,

In regards to Benny Hinn I don\'t watch him his style doesn\'t suit me but he\'s working to serve God not man I find for me it\'s unpalatable to criticize a brother particularly one who leads thousands to salvation and thousands more into healing I don\'t know him personally but he talks and walks and meets with other men I both respect and admire God is more than able to correct bless and rebuke all his sons where necessary

can see Pauline\'s point  From: June Ritchie 29 Mar 2012 (20:15)
we just cannot allow ourselves to think bad things of men who are working for God if they get good results we should be blessing for the good they do and not the evil. perhaps thats where the mote and the plank comes in.
yes we can be grieved at some of the things that seem to dishonour God, but it is their own responsibility to change what is wrong and if they dont seem to then justice is God\'s job not mine. Anyone who preaches salvation successfully must earn my respect without exception, even if queer ways pop in to mess things up. Respect and Christlike love must be seen to go together. Or we will always look crabby? and who wants to look crabby? LOL Junex
