Matthew 7 V12 From: June Ritchie 10 May 2011 (13:06)
Jesus said; Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so unto them; for this is the law and the prophets. In V20 He adds;
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Good fruits and bad fruits follow us just as good converse and bad converse does. V2 Of Matt. 7 says even plainer; For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Here then we have it the plain old measure of give and return! it\'s easy to try to sort others out, but hard when we get sorted out back in return. we have to learn to be more careful about the pointing finger for it always ends up being pointed back to us. How easy it is in daily life to get caught up in criticising but if we stay close to Christ and remember where we came from it gets easier to walk more carefully and humbly. Every disciple should take Jesus words on board and keep safe.
The ministry of encouragement is still one of the most important ones in the book why? Our unity depends on it if we\'re honest some of us find it hard to function without it
