ANDREW WOMMACK OF THE GOD CHANNEL From: TREFLYN JONES 04 Nov 2009 (06:01)
16/11/09

I HAVE WATCHED ALL 5 TEACHING DVD\'S WHICH I PUIRCHASED AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. ALL HIS TEACHING LINES UP WITH GOD\'S WORD AND AS A RESULT I AM TOTALLY UPLIFTED. ANDREW STATES ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION THAT SOME CHURCHES DO NOT AGREE WITH HIS TEACHINGS BUT GOD GAVE US ALL FREE WILL, BUT I AM TOTALLY RENEWED IN MY WALK WITH JESUS HAVING LISTENED TO HIM. HE SHOWED ME THINGS IN THE BIBLE WHICH HAD JUST PASSED ME BY.

HIS DELIVERY AND CONTENT IS SO EASY TO FOLLOW AND THERE IS NOTHING HE DOESN\'T EXPLAIN AND GIVE VALID REASONS FOR HIS UNDERSTANDING AND THROUGHOUT CONSTANTLY REFERS TO THE BIBLE.

I LOOK FORWARD TO THE OPPORTUNITY OF ATTENDING ONE OF HIS SEMINARS WHEN HE COMES TO THE UK.

................................ ORIGINAL POSTING ...........................

I AM NOT A REGULAR VIEWER OF THE GOD CHANNEL.

HOWEVER, A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I TURNED IT ON AND BEGAN LISTENING TO ANDREW WOMACK SPEAKING ON \"LIVING IN THE BALANCE OF GRACE AND FAITH\".

THE WAY HE SPOKE AND DELIVERED HIS TEACHING WAS EXCELLENT AND I AM NOW A REGULAR VIEWER OF ANDREW WOMMACK. HE IS ON THE GOD CHANNEL AT 7.00AM

I HAVE ORDERED ALL HIS TEACHING MATERIAL, BOOKS, CD\'S, DVD\'S AS I OBVIOUSLY WISH TO GAIN FULL UNDERSTANDING OF HIS TEACHING ON THIS SUBJECT.

WE MAY NOT ALWAYS AGREE WITH WHAT WAS SAID OR THE EXPLANATION OF GOD\'S WORD BY A TEACHER OR PASTOR, BUT I WOULD ASK ANYONE WHO READS THIS AND WHO HAS KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ON THIS SUBJECT TO MAKE A POSITIVE RESPONSE SO WE MAY ALL UNDERSTAND AND RECEIVE ALL OF THE BLESSINGS PROVIDED FOR US BY GOD\'S GRACE AND JESUS\' DEATH ON THE CROSS.

AMEN

TREFLYN JONES.

Andrew Wommack  From: Philip Lyon 18 Jun 2010 (13:24)
We\'ve heard / read/ watched Andrew Wommack for a good few years now and are on his mailing list, and we must say that we\'ve found all his teaching to be solid Bible based material.

sorry to reply this way, but we have to be careful with some of Andrew Wommack.s teachings  From: derek leslie 19 Jun 2010 (18:43)
Sorry to say it, but i must tell the truth about what i feel, even though it might upset some.in order to help others.
I have listened to Andrew Wommack\'s teaching dvds and I do not feel that everything that he teachers is in line with the bible.example he says we have no need to repent,I know what he means where he is coming from etc. but the bible clearly says we must repent. ie saint peter in the book of acts.all the way though the bible we are told to repent.this is dangerous teaching to be told there is no need to repent.I believe that Andrew is a good christian man.and means well.most of what he teachers is correct its the odd % thats not.
I found that we could not just listen to the dvds, without refering to the bible at every passage that he quotes to check them out. many many times they are quoted out of context.
so its not a easy experiance to see or listen to them. when we keep getting a jolt in our spirits that this is not all quite correct. so we have to keep stopping the dvd and check out the passage.
I think that people must realise that his whole teaching is founded on the name it claim it teaching.its hard to spot but it really is. I am as i said sad to have to write this reply in a negative responce. but I feel that I am compelled to just say to people be careful.I am not alone in my thinking, if you ever watch reverlation tv on sky. dug haris who specializer\'s in these things, says he also does not agree with A W\'s teachings. that they are doing some study\'s into them. its no wonder that many churches do not accept A W \'s teachings.
I only write this to warn mostly new christians who possibly dont know their bible so well, so that there could possibly get misled.
ps, but I still love A W as a fellow christian brother, even if i dont agree with some of his teachings. After all i could be wrong, you have to make your own opinions on his teachings and never fall out over them just love each other.

REPENTANCE  From: TREFLYN JONES 21 Jun 2010 (08:42)
ANDREW DOES NOT TEACH AGAINST REPENTANCE, YOU HAVE TO WATCH ALL OF THE DVD\'S TO GET THE FULL PICTUIRE OF HOW HE DEALS WITH RERPENTANCE.

REPENTANCE IS TURNING AWAY FROM SIN, ANDREW DOES NOT TEACH THAT WE SHOULD NOT TURN AWAY FROM SIN. THE BIBLE DOES NOT TEACH THAT WE SHOULD TURN AWAY FROM SIN.

I\'M NOT SURPRISED THAT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO SEE THINGS DIFFERENTLY, I ALSO CHECKED OUT ANDREW\'S BIBLE REFERENCES AND I ALSO MADE COPIOUS NOTES.

THIS IS WHAT ANDREW SAYS:

JESUS DIED FOR ALL OUR SINS ON THE CROSS, PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE.

JESUS IS THE ATONING SACRIFICE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD. (ANDREW QUOTES THESE VERSES)
1 JOHN 2:2
JOHN 16:8-9
CORINTIANS 8:9
HEBREWS 9:12
EPHESIANS 1:7
COLOSIANS 1:14
HEBREWS 9:25

ANDREW SAYS WE SHOULD NOT KEEP ON SINNING
ROMANS 6:6
JOHN 10:10
HEBREWS 10:1-2
HEBREWS 10:14
HEBREWS 12:23

I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU THINK THAT ANDREW DOES NOT TEACH ON REPENTANCE. IF YOU ARE REFERING TO THE WAY SOME CHRISTIANS TRY TO WORK OUT THEIR OWN ATTONMENT FOR THEIR NEW SINS. I KNOW SOME CHRISTIANS FEEL THAT ONCE SAVED THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEALING WITH THEIR NEW SINS, THAT WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS 2000 YEARS AGO WASN\'T ENOUGH, THE SHEDDING OF HIS BLOOD DOESN\'T COVER THESE NEW SINS. I KNOW THAT ANDREW SAYS \"YOU DON\'T HAVE TO ASK GOD TO FORGIVE OUR SINS\", THAT I UNDERSTAND, WE THANK GOD THAT HE SENT JESUS TO THE CROSS TO PAY FOR OUR SINS, WE CAN\'T ASK GOD TO SEND JESUS TO THE CROSS AGAIN AND AGAIN.
SIN HAS BEEN DEALT WITH, ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Hebrews 10:17-18 (New International Version)
17Then he adds:
\"Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.\"[a] 18And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.

Hebrews 10:26-28 (New International Version)
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, <--- THIS IS BECAUSE JESUS HAS ALREADY DEALT WITH OUR SIN ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Hebrews 9:25 (New International Version)
25 Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.

Hebrews 9:12 (New International Version)
12He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.

I DO THANK MY BROTHER IN CHRIST FOR GIVING ME THE OPPROTUNITY OF RESPONDING TO HIS POSTING. EVERY TIME I READ THE WORD IT SINKS IN DEEPER, THIS IS A GREAT SUBJECT TO DEBATE (NOT ARGUE). WE ALL NEED TO BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND EXACTLY WHAT IS BEING SAID. I DO KNOW THAT ON THE FIRST DVD ANDREW MENTIONS REPENTANCE, AND I HAVE SEEN OTHER PEOPLE REACT IN THE SAME WAY TO WHAT HE SAYS. BUT WHEN THEY WATCH THE FULL 5 DVDs RIGHT THROUGH TO THE END, ANDREW EXPALAINS IN FULL DETAIL WHY HE MADE WHAT APPEARS TO BE A VERY RADICAL STATEMENT REGARDING REPENTACE AT THE BEGINNING ON THE VERY FIRST DVD.

REGARDING REPENTANCE, WHICH WE MUST DO, FAILING TO REPENT ONLY MAKES OUR LIFE HERE ON EARTH MORE UNBEARABLE AND AGAINST THE WILL OF GOD. HOWEVER, FAILING TO REPENT MAY BE SEEN AS THE SLIPPERY SLOPE TO LOSING ONE\'S SALVATION.

MAY I THEREFORE DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING VERSES:-

Ephesians 2:8 (New International Version)
8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

A GIFT IS GIVEN UNCONDITIONALLLY, IT DOES NOT SAY PROVIDING THAT..(CONDITION)..

Ephesians 2:9 (New International Version)
9not by works, so that no one can boast.

THAT MEANS THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU DID OR CAN DO TO EARN YOUR SALVATION OTHER THAN:-

Romans 10:9 (New International Version)
9 That if you confess with your mouth, \"Jesus is Lord,\" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 11:29 (New International Version)
29 for God\'s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

Irrevocable Meaning and Definition
(a.) Incapable of being recalled or revoked; unchangeable; irreversible; unalterable; as, an irrevocable promise or decree; irrevocable fate.

Romans 11:29 (King James Version)
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

THE GREEK WORD USED FOR REPENTANCE IS AMELAMETAMAI
THIS IS A NEGATIVE WORD OF THE WORD MELAMETAMAI, BY ADDING THE \"A\" AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WORD IT BECOMES A NEGATIVE - THE OPPOSITE.

MELAMETAMAI MEANS TO FEEL SORRY AND TO WEEP IN REPENTANCE TO BE UPSET.

ASK YOURSELF, WHAT CAN YOU DO IN YOUR LIFE TO MAKE GOD CHANGE HIS MIND?

PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT SPEAKING AGAINST REPENTANCE, I AM JUST PUTTING IT INTO PERSPECTIVE.

THANKS AGAIN DEREK.
